Act of Grace On Sale Now!
Why would Grace Johnson, a bright, African-American high school senior, save the life of a Ku Klux Klansman named Jonathan Gilmore?
Discover the answer as you join Grace on the unlikeliest of journeys in my debut novel, ACT OF GRACE.
“Grace’s intimate narration and folksy-but-modern-Southern-down-home voice immediately pulls the reader into the story. You can’t help but like her: she’s sassy, she’s smart, and when her Nana explains to her that she is to be a conduit for their ancestral spirits, you know immediately that the right girl was chosen for the task.”

Congrats. (I’ve found you via Betsy Lerner’s site) What a huge accomplishment! I’m ordering your book and can’t wait to read it.
Indeed Act of Grace sounds like a fascinating read.
Thank you, thank you, for writing this book. It resonates so deeply…I was raised Roman Catholic (now recovering) but have often pondered the mystery of “purgatory” – the place souls go to wait until they are “purged” of sin. And I never, ever believed that by sayng prayers over and over I could release those souls. Your book helps me work toward answers…how can my grandfather find peace for some awful behavior? By my loving and forgiving him, and releasing him from any debt to me. That’s how…I think. May God and the ancestors bless you…and help you to keep on writing!
